LA FOP Local Lodges -
The Louisiana State FOP Lodge is comprised of 38 Local Lodges
statewide, with nearly 6,,000 members active and
retired law enforcement. Over the last four years, as the State Lodge has gained a stronger
foot-hold in Louisiana's law enforcement scene, more Local Lodges have
successfully established charters.

The Louisiana Fraternal Order of Police's membership is
growing daily. More and more law enforcement officers across the state are

At the State Level:
- Legislative Committee: Members are made aware of issues
under consideration by the State Legislature.
- Scholarship Fund: The State Lodge offers 30 college
scholarships, one per Local Lodge. Eligibility for a scholarship is open to
active members and their dependents.
- Benefits Committee: The State Lodge offers a wide range of
benefits, including up to $6,000 in life insurance coverage to each member.
- Louisiana FOP Journal: The State Lodge's highly-touted
quarterly publication chock full of articles, events and legal updates for law
enforcement officers.
