Foundation
is a
not-for-profit
corporation
that
supports
the
efforts
of
Louisiana
FOP by
providing
financial
assistance
to the
FOP’s
educational,
community
service,
and
charitable
programs.
The
Louisiana
Fraternal
Order of
Police
Foundation
is a
501c3
organization
allowing
all
contributions
to be
tax
deductible.

Law Enforcement Special Needs


Requests for assistance may be granted to the families of Louisiana
Law Enforcement
Officers Killed in the Line of Duty.
ex. Provide financial assistance to the families of fallen officers
wishing to attend the National Police Memorial Service in Washington, D.C.
Grants may be provided to organizations who provide special services to law enforcement.
ex. A grant given to the Southern Law Enforcement Foundation would help
fund the Louisiana Law Enforcement Family Support Program. This program provides an
array of services including
peer support, counseling, family support and other services needed in times of crisis.
