LA FOP  Business Office

The Louisiana State Lodge Business Office is located at the corner of Laurel and Lafayette streets, four blocks east of the State Capitol. Totaling 1,800-square feet, the business office includes a reception/lobby area, large meeting room, break room, and two operational offices in addition to the office manager's.

Services, benefits and information are streamlined from this central hub. Updates regarding law enforcement legislation are also issued by the State Business Office. If you have a legislative-related concern, contact the staff who will, in turn, contact the State Lodge's Legislative Committee.

Johnny Frederic began his in law enforcement career in 1975 when he joined the Gonzales Police Department. He joined and became very active in Jambalaya Lodge #16 where he was instrumental in its formation. Having served several terms as president and state trustee of his Lodge, Johnny was elected Guard of the Louisiana State Lodge in 1998 until October 2004 when he resigned to assume the duties of the Director of Membership Services for the State Lodge.  He also serves as Chairman of the State Lodge’s expansion committee and on the National Expansion Committee.

In 2004 Johnny retired from the Gonzales PD where he was serving as a patrol supervisor.

His hobbies include fishing and travel.
